Stimulating AFCFTA for a Productive Africa: Harnessing Entrepreneurship, Knowledge Economy, Innovation, and Technology.

Stimulating AFCFTA for a Productive Africa: Harnessing Entrepreneurship, Knowledge Economy, Innovation, and Technology.

As Africa continues to grapple with economic challenges, it is imperative that we leverage the African Continental Free Trade Area (AFCFTA) to drive growth and development.

To achieve this, we must prioritize entrepreneurship, knowledge economy, innovation, and technology as key drivers.

The AFCFTA presents a unique opportunity for Africa to unlock its economic potential, but it requires a concerted effort to stimulate entrepreneurship, innovation, and technological advancement.

By doing so, we can create a productive Africa that is capable of competing globally.

We call on governments, private sector, and civil society to work together to:

1.Promote entrepreneurship education and support start-ups and SMEs

2. Develop digital infrastructure and foster research and development

3. Encourage innovation challenges and support innovation incubators

4. Develop digital skills and promote e-commerce and digital technology.

By implementing these strategies, we can unlock the full potential of AFCFTA and create a prosperous Africa for all.
