In Africa, a disturbing trend has emerged in the form of transactional gospel preaching.

 This approach, devised by humans, exploits God's words to amass wealth and funds from unsuspecting individuals. 

Preachers manipulate biblical teachings, implying that donations or "sowing seeds" will guarantee prosperity, healing, or divine favor. 

This practice is not only unbiblical but also unethical.

Women, in particular, are vulnerable to this exploitation due to their compassionate and nurturing nature.

 They are often desperate for:

- A good spouse for marriage

- Fruits of the womb (children)

- Healing from physical or emotional pain

- A peaceful and harmonious marriage

- Successful and prosperous children

- Financial stability and prosperity for their family

These genuine desires are manipulated by transactional gospel preachers, who promise quick fixes and guarantees in exchange for money or material possessions. 

This not only drains women financially but also leaves them spiritually drained and disappointed.

The transactional gospel perverts the true essence of faith, reducing it to a business transaction. 

Let's return to the genuine gospel, which offers hope, love, and salvation without conditions or financial demands.

- The Bible teaches generosity, not extortion.

- Faith should be based on a personal relationship with God, not financial transactions.

- True spiritual leaders prioritize guidance, support, and empowerment over personal gain.

Let's reclaim the authenticity of our faith and reject the transactional gospel's manipulation.
