AN OPEN LETTER TO PRESIDENT BOLA AHMED TINUBU GCFR

AN OPEN LETTER TO PRESIDENT BOLA AHMED TINUBU GCFR
Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu
The President of Nigeria
State House, Aso Rock Villa
Abuja
Dear Mr. President,
His Excellency,
I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to bring to your attention the dire situation in our country, which I believe requires immediate action.
The widespread poverty, unemployment, hunger, anger, insecurity, energy crisis, and loss of hope among Nigerians are palpable.
I urge you, as a matter of urgency, to convene a joint brainstorming meeting with the 36 State Governors, 774 Local Government Chairmen, and all Ministers/Heads of critical agencies to develop holistic solutions to these challenges.
The situation demands short-term, middle-term, and long-term strategies to address the pressing issues.
I advocate for entrepreneurial interventions to tackle Nigeria's socio-economic challenges, as political elites may struggle to provide effective solutions.
Simply allocating funds to state and local governments without tangible impact is worrisome.
Furthermore, I don't believe in the palliative measures of distributing rice and commodities to people or offering tokens. While these gestures may provide temporary relief, they are not sustainable solutions.
We need to focus on empowering citizens with skills, knowledge economy education, massive entrepreneurship, and opportunities to break the cycle of poverty and dependence.
Sadly, Nigeria has lost its middle class. It's now a stark reality - you're either rich or poor. Even the foods once considered affordable for the poor, like garri and Titus fish, are no longer within their reach.
This is a ticking time bomb, as the saying goes: "When you push a goat to the wall, it might bite."
I propose that the brainstorming meeting be chaired by Nigeria's finest serial entrepreneurs and innovative critical thinkers, who have a proven track record of success and can bring fresh perspectives to the table.
As the Author of the bestselling book "I SEE MONEY IN AFRICA", I humbly offer my services to co-chair this meeting and contribute to finding solutions to our nation's challenges.
Mr. President, I implore you to act on this letter and take the necessary steps to address these pressing issues. The time for action is now.
Best Regards.
