Iyin Ekiti Celebrates Iyin Day 2024


On behalf of His Royal Majesty, Kabiyesi Oluyin of Iyin, Oba Adeniyi Adeola Ajakaiye, the Oyinyos’aye Uyin the 3rd, the Oluyin-in-Council, and the entire sons and daughters of Iyin, the Central Organizing Committee for Iyin Day 2024 is delighted to announce the commencement of the highly anticipated Iyin Day 2024 celebration, scheduled to take place from October 28th to November 3rd, 2024.


This year’s celebration, themed “Celebration of Unity and Development,” will feature an exciting lineup of events showcasing the rich cultural heritage, tourism potential, and natural endowments of Iyin Ekiti.

Monday, October 28, 2024


• 8:00 AM – 10:00 AM: Interdenominational Service at Oluyin Palace, Iyin Ekiti

• 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM: Medical Outreach

• 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM: Oluyin Royal Visit to Erelu Adebayo Children Home

• 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM: Environmental Sanitation at Oluyin Market, Schools, and Public Places

• 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM: Final Day for Debate and Submission of Essay on “The Iyin of My Dream”
