As a fellow Nigerian, I'm writing to remind Davido, one of Africa's most successful artists, of the importance of patriotism, especially given his influence and platform.

 Here are five reasons why Davido should be a proud ambassador of Nigeria:

As a cultural icon, Davido has a responsibility to showcase the best of Nigeria to the world. His music has transcended borders, and he's become a cultural ambassador, whether he likes it or not.

 With his family ties to the governor of Osun State, Davido can support his uncle's efforts to develop the state's agrobusiness and tourism sectors by promoting Nigeria's potential and opportunities.

As someone who has performed on global platforms, Davido has the power to shape people's perceptions of Nigeria. 

Instead of highlighting our challenges, he can use his voice to promote our strengths and attractions.

 Nigeria needs positive representation on the global stage, and Davido can be a beacon of hope and inspiration for young Nigerians.

As a celebrity, Davido is a role model to many young Nigerians. By being patriotic and promoting Nigeria's interests, he'll inspire others to do the same. 

In his recent interview, Davido mentioned that Nigeria's economy is in shambles. 

While it's true that we face challenges, every nation has its struggles. 

Instead of focusing on the negative, let's work together to promote development and growth.

I urge Davido to use his platform to promote Nigeria's potential and opportunities.

 He can start by highlighting the beauty of Osun State, including the Osun Osogbo festival.
