An Open Letter to the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria on Ekiti State Federal Roads

An Open Letter to the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

His Excellency Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR

Dear Mr. President,

I extend my warmest greetings to you, and I commend your yeoman job in leading Nigeria towards a brighter future.

Your Excellency dedication to the nation's progress is truly inspiring, and we are confident that under your leadership, our country will overcome its challenges.

As I write to bring to your Excellency attention the heartbreaking state of federal government roads in Ekiti State, I am reminded of the state's overwhelming support for your presidency.

We are hopeful that your administration will bring relief to our suffering citizens.

We are deeply grateful for the notable individuals from Ekiti State who have played significant roles in your journey, including Senator Adeyeye, the convener of SWAGA now Chairmanof NPA, and Senator Opeyemi Bamidele, CON, Senate leader. Also your son-in-law, Mr. Oyetunde Ojo, also hails from our state, and we are confident that you understand the challenges we face.

As a landlocked state, our economy relies heavily on accessible roads. Our cargo airport, a potential game-changer, remains dormant till date.

We humbly and passionately appeal to you, Mr. President, to declare a state of emergency on all federal government roads in Ekiti State.

The road corridor from Ife, Ilesha to Aramoko, Iyin-Ekiti, and Ado Ekiti, our capital city, is in dire need of attention.

This infrastructure is crucial for our economic growth, particularly in education, tourism, and agro-business. Without accessible roads, our state's progress is hindered.

We have faith in your leadership and commitment to improving the lives of Nigerians.

We believe that your administration will take immediate action to address this pressing issue.

This open letter is also in support of Governor Biodun Oyebanji's administration efforts regarding federal government roads.

Mr. President, we are counting on you. The people of Ekiti State are eager to see positive change.

We pray that God guides and blesses your Excellency.

Sincerely,

Olubunmi Oluwadare,NBDSP.
