The Entrepreneurial Journey- Lessons in Leadership.

The Entrepreneurial Journey- Lessons in Leadership.

Life can be unpredictable, and preparation is key to navigating its challenges.

With over 30 years of entrepreneurial experience, I've learned valuable lessons about life and leadership. Here are five attributes of visionary and entrepreneurial-minded leaders:

1. Tenacity of Purpose: A clear vision and determination to achieve it, even in the face of obstacles.

2. Perseverance: The ability to push through challenges and setbacks, staying focused on long-term goals.

3. Networking: Building and leveraging relationships to access opportunities, resources, and expertise.

4. Focus: Maintaining a sharp focus on goals and priorities, avoiding distractions and staying committed to the vision.

5. Risk-Taking: The willingness to take calculated risks, embracing uncertainty and innovation to drive growth and progress.

As a young entrepreneur, I started my first business, Bomex Joint, at 17, and went on to establish various enterprises, including ACHP Enterprise and Dudu Art Gallery in Port Harcourt.

I also had the opportunity to sponsor Bomex Football Club (13), which was a great experience.

One of my most notable experiences was signing a significant contract with Globacom in the early days of telecoms.

The negotiations were tough, particularly with Indian teams, as my friend Udofia Unyime  can attest to this.#closeto1billioncontract #almost20yearsago

Although we won the contract for the 3rd Mainland Bridge lamppost advertisement, we faced significant challenges that hindered our ability to execute the project. #icried

Despite feeling disappointed and dejected, I maintained a composed demeanor in front of my team, a crucial leadership trait.

Another notable achievement was when my company, ACHP Media, was appointed as the Image Maker for Chief Tunde Fanimokun's Campaign Organization.

At the time, Chief Fanimokun was a billionaire technocrat who contested for the Lagos State Governorship seat in Alliance for Democracy (AD), although he eventually lost out at the party primary.

A visionary and entrepreneurial-minded leader doesn't take "no" for an answer.

Instead, they use it as an opportunity to learn, adapt, and push forward.

These attributes have been essential in my journey, and I believe they can inspire and empower others to achieve their goals.

"I don't complain rather; I give thanks to God"

Don't quit pls.... failure is not the end.
