EKITI STATE AT 29- A CALL TO ACTION FOR GOOD GOVERNANCE.
EKITI STATE AT 29- A CALL TO ACTION FOR GOOD GOVERNANCE
As Ekiti State celebrates its 29th anniversary, congratulations are in order. While we thank God Almighty for the peace and honor bestowed upon our land, it's evident that much work remains to be done.
REFLECTING ON THE PAST, FOCUSING ON THE FUTURE.
It's time for our state to prioritize good leadership and governance over political processes.
As we mark this milestone, our focus should shift towards eradicating poverty, hunger, unemployment, insecurity, and improving industrialization, social amenities, and infrastructure.
A BRIGHTER FUTURE FOR ALL.
By prioritizing the welfare of our citizens and investing in the state's future, we can create a brighter future for all Ekiti State residents.
It's time for our leaders to put the needs of the people first and work towards building a prosperous and sustainable Ekiti State.
KEY TO SUCCESS.
The major tools needed to attain our desired goals are visionary leadership, massive entrepreneurship development, inclusive governance, innovative solutions, bold ideas, strategic partnerships, and technological advancement for progress.
We should move away from a knowledge system that pushes our youth population to seek jobs to a knowledge economy that teaches them to be job makers. Our political elites should shift focus from self-wealth creation to wealth creation for all.
UNLOCKING EKITI'S POTENTIAL.
We have all it takes to be a great state. Our lands are arable, our tourist potentials are top-notch, we have a huge learned human capital, and huge mineral resources. A prosperous Ekiti State cannot be powered by political processes, but rather by productivity.
CONCLUSION
As Ekiti State clocks 29, we must recognize the progress made so far and acknowledge the challenges that lie ahead.
With good governance, collective effort, and a focus on development, we can overcome these challenges and build a better future for ourselves and future generations.
